Manchester United have struggled for goals this season, netting just 24 times in 20 Premier League games, sparking debate as to what Louis van Gaal can do to increase their firepower. With Wayne Rooney struggling for form and very few other options, LVG has little other choice but to delve into the transfer market.  The Brazilian's been in superb form this season netting 14 La Liga goals, but it will be remain to be seen if the Red Devils actually do decide to activate his release clause in the January transfer window -- this summer seems like a far more realistic possibility.  Elsewhere, Chelsea have joined the race alongside Manchester City and Juventus to sign Real Madrid's Isco. The Blues are reportedly planning to spend big following a disastrous first half of the season and are looking to the Spanish playmaker to help start their revival. According to The Evening Standard, Madrid are unwilling to sell but the 23-year-old might try and force a move with concerns that he could lose his place in Spain's squad for Euro 2016.  But that was before Rafa Benitez was replaced by Zinedine Zidane, who reportedly convinced Isco to ignore Man City in 2013.

This youth team play in an equivalent to the Third Division in Spain, and consists of players with an average of 20 years of age. Senate panel visits Kaduna today over Zaria killings

</div>Members of the Senate adhoc committee on the Zaria killings are going to Kaduna state today on a fact finding mission, our correspondent has gathered. The committee which was constituted to investigate the killings of members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria in Zaria after an altercation with the military, met with members of the movement last week. At the meeting which was held behind closed door, representatives of the movement told the committee their own account of the incident. Our correspondent gathered that the committee resolved to visit the Kaduna state Governor Nasir El-Rufai and the Emir of Zazzau Shehu Idris during one of their meetings attended by 13 members of the panel. It was gathered that the committee’s members will also visit the movement’s Hussainiyya Islamic centre, among other property destroyed by the military after the incident in Zaria. A member of the committee confirmed the visit to our correspondent by telephone but declined further comment, saying the visit was not for public consumption. Also a document seen by our correspondent at the National Assembly showed that the committee would be in Kaduna today. Efforts to get confirmation from the chairman of the committee, Senator Ahmed Lawan yielded no result as his phone was not available  at the time of filing this report.
