Early this year, Microsoft issued out a serious warning to the public concerning Windows 10 Upgrade Deadline. They said that users who fail to upgrade before the stipulated free time will have to pay about $119 after the deadline.

Now, the deadline has come and gone but some people are yet to upgrade their PC to latest Windows 10. While few of these people intentionally decided not to upgrade because of one reason or the other, majority of others who missed the free upgrade did so mainly because of ignorance and lack of awareness.

Having said that, all hope is not lost as it Microsoft have introduced another method to upgrade free of charge by visiting Assistive technology page (i.e. For Disabled people). Interestingly, Microsoft didn't provide a way to monitor or verify who accesses the page, meaning it is opened to the general public to use.

Right now, am even thinking they never meant to close the upgrade stuff like they warned initially. They did it in other to pressurize people to upgrade. That's business for you.

As of the time of this publication, there is no word on when this offer will end. So you now have a second chance to upgrade free of charge.
