Android 7.0 is said to come with a feature known as Enforced Verified Boot With Error Correction . What this means is that your device will undergo quick boot verification anytime it is being restarted and if there is a strange boot image, it will automatically bypass it or corrupt the phone's software and brick the device.
Although this is a security measure taken by Google in the right direction to provide advanced protection on android devices but it is actually a danger looming to happen for tweakers like myself and you. It simply means we might not be able to root any android device on the Nougat OS. Also, there might be nothing like flashing recovery images or flashing of custom ROMs.
Now tell me how you will feel as a tweaker using a non rooted device.
Anyway, am not completely scared of it because am very convinced that there must be a way to break it down and root the devices. After all, iOS devices with one of the strongest security features also gets Jailbreaking so this one won't be a big problem once we take care of it.
