Fast forward it to now, am glad to announce to you yet another devices from the Chinese company, the duo of Gionee M6 and Gionee M6 Plus has just been unveiled with metal-clad, tight security and amazing memory and battery capacity.
Gionee unveiled the two devices in China and i will give you a quick look of what they look like and their basic features. One thing that is like a signature in almost all Gionee devices is the battery. They don't joke with battery and in these two android smartphones, Gionee gave their customers more battery backup with reverse charging features. They even gave more battery specs than what is obtained in Gionee S6 Pro
Gionee M6 Features
The Gionee M6 is the "smaller" version of the M6 Pro and it features a 5.5" AMOLED screen and a long lasting 5,000mAh battery capacity. Gionee M6 will be available in up to three variants differentiated with varying internal memory sizes but all will have the same 4GB of RAM. The variants are the 32GB, 64GB or even 128GB storage versions.
Talking about the processor and speed, Gionee M6 is powered by an octa-core processor clocking at 1.8GHz. As per the camera, the device packs a 13MP camera lens at the back with a dual-LED flash and a fingerprint reader/scanner
Gionee M6 Plus Features
Like the name suggests, it is the advanced version of the M6 as it features even more higher specs like the much increased 6 inch AMOLED display screen size with 1080p resolution. Now talking about the battery, this is wow 😱 and absolutely fantastic. The M6 Plus packs an amazing 6,020mAh battery capacity with reverse charging technology. Which simply means the two devices can serve as a powerbank to charge other phones and electronic devices via OTG
Talking about the speed and processor on the M6 Plus, it uses a faster Helio P10 chipset, the octa-core processor clocking at a higher 2GHz. The device comes with 4GB of RAM, but unlike the former, it will be available in one variant which is the 64GB storage. It also packs a 13MP rear camera with dual flash and 8MP front camera

Gionee upped their game in security on these devices with an inclusion of a dedicated security chip that offers 10 layers of protection for your personal data. Apart from that, the two devices uses fingerprint scanning technology as part of the security measures.
The devices features an encrypted chip that protects your images,documents,videos and other valuable information from authorized access.
Unfortunately neither M6 or M6 Plus has a 3.5mm audio jack and while they would be available first in China, other locations will get to feel the devices later this year.

There is no word yet about the prices of the phones and they are not yet available in Nigeria. Meanwhile, the prices are expected to rang from 50,000 to 75,000 Naira respectively.
