One of the most popular android Smart keyboard and prediction tech company SwiftKey said it's currently working to fix an issue that causes "unfamiliar terms" and other users' email addresses to show up as text predictions while typing. email predictions can pose a security threat when another person with evil mind is with your phone.
According to the company's blog statement today,
"While this did not pose a security issue for our customers, we have turned off the cloud sync service and are updating our applications to remove email address predictions. During this time, it will not be possible to back up your SwiftKey language model,"
I thoroughly believe that allowing email prediction can be harmful and i am happy it is detected and would be resolved soon.
